Parent Homework Survey

• Amy will create a short parent homework survey on Zoomerang. The questions will be the same ones used for the staff homework review. We will announce it in our family bulletin and keep it active until April vacation.

Math Night

• We still need to finalize a date for the event. Nancy informed us that the little league parade is scheduled for Sunday, 4/25. It would be best to schedule the math night before the spring sports season gets fully underway. The evening is for students and parents to explore grade level math concepts through a game format. These games could then be shared at home to reinforce learning.

Project Based Learning

• Kennon suggested looking into a possible collaborative with a local farm as a resource for fresh produce for our food service. She also proposed a collaboration with “Slow Food” out of Maine to help us start a school garden that students could be a part of as a project learning experience.
