Students, Parents and Staff,
We
are pleased to share with you the exciting news that the Kids Care Club will
start up again here at Buker School!
The Kids Care Club is an after school program open to any interested
students and their parents in grades K-5.
For those of you who are new to Buker, the clubÕs purpose is to support
community service projects both at school and in the larger community. The
group is an avenue for students to reach out to members of our community in a
respectful and caring manner.
Our
goal is to gather together once a term, on a Monday or Tuesday, for either an
in-house service project or a community outreach. The meetings begin at schoolÕs end and are generally
completed by 4:00pm.
Transportation home from all meetings are the responsibility of the
parents. Parents are encouraged to
participate.
Kids
Care Club wants you! Come and
enjoy the fellowship of each other as we work together toward the spirit of
giving and service. Please complete
the sign up form on the back of this memo, and return to school with your child
as soon as possible. We look forward to a
great year of giving together.
