BUKER FAMILY BULLETIN

Have a great summer!

BUKER BIKE DAY will not be held this year due to scheduling conflicts. We plan to bring Buker Bike Day back next year.

Before heading out for summer fun, we want to welcome 4 new members to the Birthday Book Club.  First grader's Hannah Freeman and Jake Maier added The Runaway Dolls and The Lost and Found Tooth to the library.  Second graders Nicole Ertel and Lucas Bailey selected the new books from the author's that visited Buker this spring to add to the library.  Look for Starring Lorenzo – and Einstein Too by Mark Karlins and What's Inside by Giles LaRoche.

If you are celebrating your child's birthday this summer, we look forward to adding them to Birthday Book Club in the Fall.  Enjoy your summer reading.

School Directory

2009-2010

Each year the Friends of Buker, Cutler and Winthrop produce a combined school directory for your convenience.  The directory contains contact information including name, address, parent names, phone number, email, and grade, class and school.

You must fill out and sign a new form each year in order to be included!

Click on  <word doc>  or  <pdf>  to download the form.

BUKER FIELD DAY was a great success.  A thousand thanks to

Kennon Anderson, and her corps

 of volunteers.

Everyone had a great time!

The Friends of Buker are still looking for someone to coordinate artists next year to exhibit in the Susan Cooke Gallery at Buker.  Please contact Lindsey Strong at lcstrong@verizon.net if you're interested.

Calling all
Room Parents for next year!  Please contact Kate Page (katehpage@gmail.com) or Tracy Conley (lltconley@comcast.net) to volunteer for next year for your child's class.  They will be in touch with you over the summer once class assignments are released.
